Privacy notice

Information pursuant to Art. 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Legislative Decree 196/2003 as amended by Legislative Decree 101/2018.

What data we process

• Registration data: pseudonym, email, password (stored only as a cryptographic hash).
• Contact email: the address entered in the "stay on the waitlist" form for the official trial version.
• Technical access data: IP address, user agent, date and time (access logs, for security and internal aggregate statistics).

Purposes and legal basis

• Consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR): to contact you for the official trial version, manage your account and service communications, send the newsletter only if you consent.
• Legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR): site security, abuse prevention and aggregate usage statistics.
• Legal obligations: compliance with applicable law.

Consent to retention

By ticking the consent box you agree that data is retained for the sole purpose of being contacted for the official trial version (for waitlist emails) or managing the account (for registered users). No other use, no transfer to third parties.

Retention

Data is kept only for as long as needed for the stated purposes. The waitlist email is kept until you ask for deletion; account data stays active until you delete it (possible at any time from the profile page); access logs are kept for a limited period and used only in aggregate form.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection (Arts. 15–22 GDPR), plus the right to withdraw consent at any time and to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority. You can exercise your rights by writing to team@openfreedom.it.

Cookies

This site uses only essential technical cookies (login session) and no profiling or third-party cookies. Access logs (IP, user agent) are not cookies and are processed for security and internal aggregate statistics.
